Introduction
With the coming of the new century, Yichun University (YC) was set up in the Yichun City of Jiangxi Province, where Confucianism had been prosperous long, and the academy of classical learning had stood in significant numbers in the Tang and Song Dynasties. The cultural tradition brought up a wealth of talents, such as Song Yingxing, a science pioneer in Ming Dynasty, and Wu Youxun, a distinguished modern physicist, who brought glories to the city.
It has a beautiful campus which is located in the foot of Mountain and alongside a River. Yichun University is recognized by WHO ( World Health Organization) and IMED listed. Lowest fee and cost of living in this university. Halal food is available in the mess. Girl Hostel is separated. English Medium since 2005.

The new school covers 1,250 square meters, constructed to a high standard. After four years of construction, a modern garden-like campus appears in Jiangxi. It is located at the foot of a mountain and alongside a river. Now, there are more than 19,779 full-time registered and adult students, and1,000 staff members, 633 of whom are teachers (including 233 full or associate professors, 10 specialists entitled to State Funds, and 17 Provincial Subject Leaders or Backbone Teachers )
YU is made up of 11 faculties. They are the School of Humanities, School of Science, School of Engineering, School of Agriculture, School of Medicine, School of Business and Law, School of Foreign Languages Studies, School of Physical Education, School of Art, School of Adult Education, and School of Vocational and Technical Education.
Creativity, Development, and Reform is the motto of YU. The university successfully raised enough money to construct the campus in the financial market, optimized the structure of specialties to meet the needs of the labor market, and paid attention to creativity and research reform techniques. Therefore, It takes on a new look now. Mew Anti-Hepatitis-virus medicine—-ursolic acid and its preparation research and development are one of the 863 national scientific research plans taking the lead in its fields. Meanwhile, the market mechanism regulates the research program, which helps make scientific research and development market-oriented. Science research has entered a highly developing period in YU since 2000. The faculty members have published over 1,520 academic papers, 37translations or textbooks, and have undertaken 81 provincial scientific types of research.
Currently, YCU has 18 schools, 69 undergraduate programs, and two affiliated hospitals.
YCU is a comprehensive university whose predecessor was established in 1958. It is located in Yichun City, Jiangxi Province, PRC. With the approval of the Ministry of Education, the new Yichun University grew out of Yichun Teachers College, Yichun Medicine College, and Yichun Agriculture College in January 2000.

History of Yichun University
Yichun University was founded in 1924 and is located in the city of Yichun, Jiangxi Province. The university has a total of fifteen colleges and schools, including thirteen undergraduate schools and two graduate schools. Yichun University is one of the oldest universities in Jiangxi Province and has been ranked among the best universities in China for engineering and technology.
In 2013, the university was ranked number one in Jiangxi Province for medical education by the Ministry of Education.
Faculty
Yichun University has a total of 1,596 faculty members, including 886 professors and 740 associate professors. The majority of the faculty are full-time scholars and hold a PhD or MD. In addition, there are also several distinguished visiting professors from universities such as Peking University and Tsinghua University.

The student body at Yichun University is made up of approximately 26,000 students, including 10,000 undergraduates and 16,000 graduates. Yichun University offers a wide range of undergraduate programs, including Medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, physical therapy, psychology, and law. The university has several graduate programs, including engineering and technology, business administration, and Medicine.
Facilities & Services
The facilities at Yichun University include an academic library with more than 1 million volumes; thirteen student dormitories; three hospitals with a total bed capacity of 1120 beds; a clinical teaching hospital with 300 beds; an athletic stadium that can accommodate up to 50 000 spectators; and a variety of other facilities. The university also has access to various online resources such as EBSCOhost databases and Cambridge International Exams.
