Introduction

Harbin Medical University (HMU) is located in Harbin, Heilongjiang province. HMU has a scenic green campus of 2.36 million square meters with buildings of ancient architecture styles.HMU was founded in 1926. It originated from the merger of the old Harbin Medical University (a.k.a. Harbin Special Medical School, founded by a pioneer medical doctor in China. HMU has clearly defined medical programs. It is among the first group of medical universities with a seven-year medical program and has been working with Nankai University and Harbin Institute of Technology in jointly teaching these seven-year program students.

University Overview

HMU has a reasonable discipline structure. There is one national key discipline, 32 provincial key disciplines, one incubation base of national key laboratories in biomedicine. The over 10,000 faculty and staff include a combination of newly trained members and seasoned professionals. HMU has made remarkable scientific achievements. HMU boasts advanced clinical technology. The five medical schools (affiliated hospitals) are ranked at top level; three are listed among the “100 best hospitals” in China. There are over 10,000 full-time students, including over 3000 graduate students. University ranked 1313 of 14,131in the world and 130 of 960 in country.

Eligibility

The qualified applicant should be over 18 years old and under 25 years old
The minimum marks of all subject should 60% or above.

⦁ Student will pay liaison fee 12000RMB in the first year only.
⦁ Students will pay for stationary, electricity charges and water bill themselves.
⦁ Fee once paid will not be refunded. Student will follow the rules and regulations of the HMU.
⦁ Food, Visa, Medical Insurance and other miscellaneous expenses are not included in the above fee. These expenses will pay by the student on arrival with actual price.
